Valuable Timber Auction 2027

An auction of mainly coniferous assortments in logs or full lengths (larch, spruce, Douglas fir), quality I, II and a selection of IIIA, together with hardwood assortments (oak, ash and others). Bids are submitted as sealed bids per m³ for each individual log.

Auction: Wednesday 17 – Wednesday 24 February 2027

Viewing: working days 8:00–15:00, other times by phone arrangement

Venue: Sušice timber yard, Nádražní 1398, 342 01 Sušice, Czech Republic

Registration: by 24 February 2027, 12:00

Bid deadline: Wednesday 24 February 2027, 15:00

Results: by Thursday 25 February 2027, 18:00 (by e-mail)

For bidders

Bids per 1 m³ excluding VAT, in CZK or EUR, EXW Sušice
Submission: in person at the timber yard, or by e-mail together with the completed and signed Consent to the Auction Decree
Measurement: softwood logs up to 6 m – top diameter under bark; softwood long logs and hardwood – mid diameter over bark
Maximum / minimum volume: you can state the volume in m³ you want to buy
Payment within 14 days of the invoice date
Collection within 14 days of payment; loading by the auctioneer is available for a fee (price list on request)
Binding version: the Czech Auction Decree prevails; English and German versions are translations

Delivery to the Sušice timber yard: 4 January – 12 February 2027
Commission from the winning price excl. VAT: 4.0 % up to 100 m³, 3.0 % above 100 m³, 2.5 % for first-time sellers – no other selling fees
Payment within 14 days of the end of the auction
